Predicting Location of 3rd Photogate with a Quick Start
Your teacher has given you a toy car that will move with a constant speed. The car will pass through two photogates that are visible and then a third photogate that is not visible. Your job is to predict the location of the third photogate.
You will need to start collecting data before your car reaches the first photogate. Use your data for the first two photogates to determine the speed of the car and then use this to find the location of the third photogate.
After you have determined the location of the gate, submit to check your work.
Click on the index card to take a measurement of the width of the card. You will need this value to find the velocities and acceleration of the car.
