Acceleration on Incline with Predictions
Your teacher has given you a toy car that will move down a very long ramp. A wooden barrier can be placed at different locations along the ramp. When the car hits the barrier it will stop the timer and also record the speed of the car. You will be looking to see how the distance to the barrier affects the speed of the car and the time it took the car to reach the barrier.
After you collect enough data to develop a relationship for the car's motion down the incline, you will use that relationship to make predictions for things you didn't measure.
