Predicting Speed at a Given Location
Predicting Location at a Given Location
Your teacher has given you a toy car that will move down a very long ramp. The motion of the car will be monitored by a motion sensor to give you graphs of position vs. time and velocity vs. time. The motion sensor is short range so it will not be able to get the speed of the car near the bottom of the ramp.

Students will need to take the data from the motion sensor to predict the speed at a location outside the range of the motion sensor. A photo gate will then be placed at the location to allow the student to test their prediction.
