You will be given an object of unknown mass that will be hanging from a meter stick. You will also get a partially filled water bottle. You will need to move the water bottle's location on the meter stick until the system has reached equilibrium. You will repeat this process for multiple trials with different amounts of water in the bottle.

Once you develop your equation, you will use it to make predictions on things you didn't measure.
